A beauty lost in the crowd of three, a broken soul hidden behind a safety mask. Her eyes tell the stories of a thousand secrets, the untold stories of a silent mind. She has no voice against the darkness. Only the regrets scarred into her skin shows the emptiness of the heart.
The lonesome nightfall never ends and the silent void grows louder. No one can hear her desperate cries for help. She is lost in the eternal oblivion, slowly fading away in the distance.
The knife cuts deeper, but it’s never deep enough to pleas the quiet whispers in her head. The control belongs to the darkness. Fragile she tries to distract her onto a different path, searching for freedom in the sky. She writes a heartbroken letter for her mother. Her last words flow onto the paper, like a river down a mountain.
“I’m only human and I can’t do this anymore. I let go as I escape this constant misery of my heart. The lonesome moon calls my name and promises to keep me safe. I won’t be alone; I will be amongst the hopeful stars, looking down on you and watching over you.
I love you, don’t ever forget that.”
The ground underneath her turns to red. Liberation fills the naked space and release the pain from its captivity. Tears roll down her chin as she whispers gently “goodbye”. For a second a smirk flickers through the broken mask. Peace glides in between the cracks and set her free.
She was like the moon- part of her hidden away, and now she is a star - shining for the people she left behind.
